We, as humans, distance ourselves from the animal kingdom in many ways. We often fail to acknowledge our connection to nature, or accept that we are simple animals ourselves.
Still... our knowledge of differences between us and other species causes us to live a lonely existence at times. Is there any other kind of being in our universe who could really understand our experience?
Dragons
Throughout history, lore of cultures long passed spoke of creatures we commonly call "dragons". The interpretation of dragon sub-species varies greatly between societies, and their role in fantasy and media of sorts is broad, to say the least.
It could be said that what qualifies a dragon to be called one is simply an open concept itself, though an understanding of historical concepts and beliefs definitely helps to branch out with new ideas!
